Depression and the Fear of Drifting Away from The Lord.

I've been feeling kinda down again. I've been trying to get in the word but lately it's been hard to apply it to my heart and emotions. Things at work have changed, what is a blessing is also a curse. They pulled my coworker from the school I work at and placed her in another school. Then they took a guy from that school and put Him with me. The upside is I finally got someone to talk too, and share interests with. The Down side is this is interfering with the best prayer time I get in a day. I'm not implying that this particular prayer time makes my depression go away. I'm saying that this is the time I get to talk to Jesus out loud. I'm asking you to pray that God will help me rearrange my life so that it accommodate the changes and that I'll somehow get closer to Jesus.

Maybe you can hum or sing praises to God that reflect your heart-cry! That might work. Plus your beautiful voice might be soothing to those around you, right? Huummm...that's not a bad idea. As one door closes, the Lord opens up a window somewhere!

"Father, please give Gregory boldness to sing praise and worship songs which reflect his heart. Many or even the one around him will be touched. Hallelujah! Amen."

Hei Greg....

God has a purpose for everything...God has decided to make a little change in your life. He is changing your routine. God does not want us to take him as a routine in our life. He wants us to be like Jesus.... Jesus accommodates any situation at any time. Routine is Good but we must be able to handle change. Change is not a curse...it is a blessing. Take the change positively.

The change was made for a purpose. The change has brought you a new friend to share, share about Jesus..is also a way of ministering his word, you are glorifying God's word and his work.

Thinking about Jesus, is also a way of being close to him...does your heart beat faster when you think of his amazing work, the sacrifices he went through to save us? I am sure it does :)

Challenge anything in Jesus name, you will gain victory, he has the answers to everything and you will be amazed when things fall in place in his time.

Praise God...you've God a new friend...

Greg, That happens to many of us. I've been thru it for a couple of months now. I'm trying to pull myself out but it's been a slow process. I'll be praying for you & you do the same for me brother. Luv u
