What Has Been Seen Can Not Be Un Seen

Yesterday my mother told me to go through my dads phone and look at some of his text messages so i did. and i found some ungodly pics of women neighbors on there. i also found alot of sexting that he had done with over 50 women, and so i now see my father in a much different

light. i was so blind before the girls seemed so innocent and sweet, but i guess what they say about the quiet sweet looking ones are true, they have the biggest dark sides. and now i am very angry with these women and with him, they know that he is married, they were sending him ungodly

pics and they were sending him prayers, saying wait until after church and we will meet up for some ungodly fun it made me feel really sick and many of them had god as their signatures. i think i am holding unforgiveness in my heart. i keep getting mad and re seeing this in my mind, please

pray that i will release all this unforgiveness and hate that i am feeling right now toward dad and all these women to god. i do not wont to hold on to this unforgiveness please pray for me.

One of the beautiful things that can come out of such an experience is the desire not to be superficial about our own walk with God. When I have come across those who use the name of the Lord for their own profit, however that plays out, I get a hunger to not fall into such a category. I fall short from the Glory of God as we all do, but the bad examples only make me want to be among the good examples. I do get angry at times at seeing so much immaturity and hypocrisy in the body, but God is quick to remind me that much grace has been given to me.

Sorry to hear what you found out, that must be hard. I will continue to keep you in my prayers.

I cannot imagine what you are going through at the moment. Your desire to release this over to God is the right thing and one that will take great effort and courage to accomplish, but needs to be done. You need to do this for your benefit. You have been greatly hurt and will need to heal. Forgiving others is one of the steps in the healing process.
