If we were to step in Christ's shoes

In general, we all go through persecution, humiliation, and rejection because of our Christian faith. At the end of the day, our joy is shattered and we find ourselves crying and wanting to take revenge. We ought to step back a moment and imagine if anyone of us were to step back a moment and imagine if we were living the life of the Christ, how would life be like? Would you be able to do what Christ did? Would you be a good example? Would you be able to endure the same pain Christ went through during his last hours of being in the flesh? How would you react if you knew you were to die for everyone's sins? Would you want to take revenge toward those who have hurt you or ask God to forgive them like Christ did?

This is only one question I'm going to answer. God was not getting revenge. Everything & everyone must be justified. They are getting their just punishment, not revenge.

Your questions honestly can not be answered by any of us. We can assume how we might act or react, but only in the midst of the struggle would we find out the truth about ourselves.

Captain,

There is only One who could do what Christ did. Salvation comes through Him and Him alone. None of us could do it. He helps us in our weakness. Humanity must come to a point of humility knowing just how much we need Him and how we are completely helpless without Him. We can't even begin to know what it may be like to be Messiah-Savour of the World. I pray that we will all focus on how Awesome our God is and rest in that truth.
