There are many good people burning in hell. 

John 3:3, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” There is no mention of their behavior.

John 14:6, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.”

John 6:40, “And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

Our salvation is pending on our belief in the Son & obeying His commands. If we are good & get to heaven, it would be us doing the work. However, salvation is from Christ alone. Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.

We are saved by what Christ did for us. :) That's why He came and died for us because we couldn't make it to Heaven by our own works. We only get to Heaven because of Jesus.

Yes : You must be born again to go to heaven , Please go
before The Lord in prayer and ask him to forgive you
and for Him to be Lord of your life, Do this in the name
of Jesus.
