Forgiveness is divine.  Try to live an examplery life so that your adversaries can see God in you and see the importance of changing their lives for the better.

Yeah Lina so true , forgiveness is divine , when you forgive God makes way , God brings peace and happiness in our life

How can you be sure you've truely forgiven people who has hurt you though? Does it mean you haven't forgiven if you keep remembering what they did?

You may forgive a person for some harm that was done to you, and it may be real forgiveness, but then something will remind you of that wrong and you will need to let it go again.

Also, forgiving someone does not mean you let that person back into your life. If the person is still a threat to you, may harm you again, you can forgive them, but stay away from them too.

When you forgive someone, you will feel that you hold no grudges with someone and you will be willing to give them a second chance.

Very often when you forgive someone, you will feel a sense of relief.

In addition, there is often a sense of understanding, that is, of seeing things through the other person's eyes.

That does not mean that what the other person did is right, but this new perspective makes it easier to understand.

The beauty of forgiving is you will have a peaceful feeling in your heart. If you don't have that kind of feeling, means you are not honestly forgiving.-- Johni Pangalila (Australia)
