Knowing the Messiah fully

In this Prayer, we are shown a great many things, we as His Children possess. A Wise spirit, a heart flooded with Light, so we can begin to understand and operate in the Confident Hope we have been given. This is the Hope; the Confident Hope on which our Faith is based on. 4 In Him was Life, and that Life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. 1John 1:4-5 Here we see Jesus is The Light given to us so that we may know of All His Love; of all He has for us as His followers. As God said, “Let there be light.” The Spirit moves on our spirits, shows us we are in darkness; in sin. And, that Jesus is The Light that we need; that we must have. As we accept Him as Lord, as we yield to Him and His Ways. Because they are united in Love, I pray that their hearts may be encouraged by all the riches that come from a Complete Understanding of the full Knowledge of the Messiah, who is the mystery of God Col 2:2 As in the Prayer above, Paul is telling them and us a need we have. We need our hearts flooded with Light, so we can begin to understand who and what Jesus our Messiah truly Is. When we are asked to put our Trust in Him, it is only when we know Him that we can understand the Powerful Benefits and the True Surety of a life given and surrendered to Him gain. That we gain hearts encouraged; energized; galvanized; determined. We gain hearts confident and fearless, as we are united in Love, we learn also to operate in Faith.

We continue to require the need of that Light in our hearts. Until, our hearts; passions; desires, we need that Light to consume who and what we are. We must be able to see where our flesh still has influence on us. It must be clear to us to whom or what we bow to. To the things that consume our thoughts and our actions. So all of us who have had that veil removed can see and reflect the Glory of the Lord. And the Lord, who is the Spirit makes us more and more like Him as we are changed into His Glorious image. 2Cor 3:18
And, this is just what happens. Once we are shown the Light, when we first understand the need we have for Christ. For God, who said, "Let there be light in the darkness," has made this Light shine in our hearts so we could know the Glory of God that is seen in the face of Jesus Christ. 2Cor 4:6 Once we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior  we are shown and given the ability to know right from wrong. We spend the rest of our time here, surrendering; ... patiently endure testing and temptation. For in these verses, we are shown patient endurance is what we need. Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised. Heb 10:36     God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. James 1:12
