Rox,

I pray for your friends but I also pray for you. You are saying you are a Christian sort of. I don't really think that qualifies. I pray that all your confusion will be lifted and that you will know for sure that Jesus is Lord and the Savior of all those that come to Him. Once you believe in Him and put your faith and trust in Him, you will no longer be a sort of Christian. A sort of Christian will probably not be the kind of witness that your friends need. I really believe you need to get that situation straightened up first.

RoxChristian,

What does that name mean? Is that an abbreviation for your name and identifying yourself as a Christian. Some feel they are not good enough yet to call themself a Christian but they do believe in Jesus. Jesus accepts us just as we are and loves us and calls us His very own. I am wondering if you are waiting on yourself to get good enough. That just won't work since none of us ever get good enough to be called a Christian. We are a Christian because of what Christ has done not for anything we have done.

Loving Heavenly Father, I stand before Your Throne of Grace in prayer with  Rox for her friends who are not yet Christians. Please send the Holy Spirit to open the hearts, eyes, and minds of these souls so that they will hear and respond to Jesus and His message of Salvation. Jesus said in Matthew 18:19 --  'Again I say unto you, that if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of My Father which is in heaven.'

Father I also humbly ask that instead of Rox being a "sort of" Christian, she will become one that stands firmly and with reverence on Your Word. As Roy W says, to be a witness for Christ one has to be grounded in Him. 

Father we are trusting that our prayer is in accordance with Your Will. Thank You. In Jesus' precious name, Amen.

May the Lord bless you RoxChristian.  May he give you wisdom and understanding in his ways.  May scripture verse after scripture verse give you guidance on how to pray for those you love.  I lift them up to the Lord and pray his anointing be upon their heads that they may hear the Lord call them by name.
