Hee Haw is a show that has like old country music, Sundays on an agriculture channel. They also had gospel music

They have a gospel quartet with old classic hymns. "Are you washed in the blood of of the lamb" is an old hymn but I can't find it with Hee Haw right now.

I know what Hee Haw is which tells my age. I just didn't see the link between the show & the hymn.

All,Tammy, I thought that was one of their gospel songs.

 

Hi Carla. Something came to mind, I just don't like assuming. I thought the book looked like the book of life because whoever is washed in the blood of the Lamb, their name is in that book.

 

I don't want to assume or anything.

 

What your saying, on what God's done, that reminds me of the song "Our God is an awesome God".

 

On a side note, could I pray for your husband that he finds Jesus? If you don't mind is there a nickname I may use? It's just easier to pray with a nickname.

Hi Feetbreeze,

 

If God gave you a vision, I believe He would be clear as to what He wanted you to do with it.  He wouldn't leave you guessing.

 

However, He may have given you something to encourage you.  I've received a few of those-- what I like to call 'gracelets'.  But they are not visions.

 

1) I saw scripture written across the sky, and the words from Matt 24:35 came to mind.

2) I saw a suspended crucifex in the sky, and the Lord reminded me to keep my eyes on Him

3)I saw the Lord's face in the clouds on one particularly difficult day, and the scripture 2 Chronicles 16:9(a) came to mind.

4)I saw in the clouds two pathways..  one narrow, the other broad.  Matthew 7:13,14 came to mind.

 

Each time I saw these things they were relevant to something i was praying about, discouraged over or just needed to be reminded of...they each somehow applied to what I needed to hear.  There have been others too... These ones are forefront in my mind as I sit here recalling them quickly.

 

If you believe it was from the Lord, ask Him to make it plain to you.

 

oh--I just remembered a beautiful dream God gave me.

 

I was really discouraged because my husband is a non-believer...he calls himself an athiest.

I feel asleep while I was praying--crying out to God.  God gave me a dream of His protection and covering over me.  I dreamdt of a tidal wave threatening to knock me down...but instead it encircled me and surrounded me.  There was a real warmth to it.  God showed me that He was holding me in the eye of the storm....and even though the waves were threatening to crash me down, He wouldn't let me be knocked down, I was under His covering and in His protection.  I was reassured.  When I awoke, I called my mom to tell her about my dream...and as I was telling her about my dream, the picture I saw of the tidal wave in my dream came on the screen saver of my computer at the exact same moment (i was sitting in front of my computer when I called her)..  It was very reassuring and comforting.  God does communicate things to us continually.  It was exactly what I needed to hear.
