Discover God's will in your life? How to discover Gods will in your life?

First let’s see what does the bible says about Gods will?

The bible says that God's will is “good, pleasing and perfect ---- Romans 12:2

If you closely observe the life of Jesus on earth you can notice that he came in Human form to do the will of God

Everyone knows that Jesus was tempted by the devil before he went to cross but Jesus didn’t give up he didn’t pray to his father like dad save me from the cross I want to live; even though he was weak he decided to pray and the holy spirit filled him and he prayed like Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done – Luke 22:42

What do these words imply?

• Jesus was so close to God
  
• He prayed to his father he didn’t ask his disciples for help he looked unto his father  ; he   kept God First
  
• Jesus is denying his self will and submitting to his father’s will ; this is an Act of Obedience and Humbleness 
• He trusts him so much that no matter what happens it will end for Good

So to discover Gods will we need to do to the same how can we do this?

1.      First we need to get close to God Confess our sins ; pray and read the word of God from the bible everyday

Only when you read the word you will follow his laws and understand his will

The Bible will help us to know God's will. When you read the bible it clearly tells us that God has a specific plan for your life. For I know the plans I have for you, declared the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future --- Jeremiah 29:11

Look what David says your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path --- Psalm 119:105

We need to have his word in our heart to do Gods will

2.      Secondly Prayer; When we pray to God he will bless you with his spirit of Truth; when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth --- John 16:13 God has given us the Holy Spirit for guidance.  David prayed like, teach me to do your will, for you are my God; may your good Spirit lead me on level ground --- Psalm 143:10

Ask God in prayer just talk to him keep him first in your life give him the Glory and Praise which he deserves

3.      Thirdly we need to self-deny our own will ; If anyone would come to me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me --- Luke 9:23 i.e. we need to submit our life in to God’s Hands just remember No plan of ours can improve on the plan of God. Don't be afraid to surrender it to Him. This includes surrendering our lives, both spiritual and physical, to Almighty God, who is Creator over us all.

Surrendering is not easily attained because surrender means to give up control.

Do you really think we can achieve a lot in life without God you can show me a lot people they may have earned lot of money and fame but without Gods favor and peace life is a waste

Jesus said; whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it --- --- Matthew 10:39 give your life in his hand and you will find it;

Life without Gods divine plan is waste

 It is best to ask the Holy Spirit to guide and direct you

 After you submit and place your trust on him no need to worry about things he will Guide your ways Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight --- Proverbs 3:5-6  

He has started so he will end it why to worry??

Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in your will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus --- Philippians 1:6

What happens after we submit to Gods Will?

Hebrews 13:21 says that Jesus will equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen

God is the potter; we are the clay. God keeps us spinning on His potter's wheel, shaping and reshaping us as He bathes our lives in tears to make us more Christ-like so He can use us for His will. Surrender daily. Keep your clay moist through daily prayer - prayer that's in accordance to His will.

 It so simple imagine that you have a car ( that’s your life ) instead of self driving give the Steering  to JESUS let him drive the car you sit next to him and enjoy ; You don’t need to drive Jesus has won the battle on the Cross J

Romans 12:1-2 tells us the steps of how to know God's will for your life: "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God - this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will."

If you truly seek God’s will with a humble spirit and an open mind; He will reveal His will to you.
