Psalm, 37:;4 Delight yourself in the Lord and he shall give you the desires of your heart, Commit yourself , commit your
way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And he shall bring it to pass. Bond yourself with God , learn to love what God loves,
learn to hate what God hates, we are delighting the Lord. Deu- 6: 5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your strgenth .

What a wonderful verse, little Sister.  I like the NLT version, "Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart's desires."  That we should chose to find joy and have pleasure in the Lord.  I think for us to be able to delight ourselves in the Lord, our heart goes through a change.  We are able to discover His Love.  We begin to be able to express our Faith in God, in a Joyful manner.  For to delight in something, in this case God, we must trust and believe in His Power and Grace.  The more we do this, it becomes clearer to us, all that we gain.  One of those things we discover that we gain is Peace, and a heart that is full of contentment.  

What a wonderful idea for a group.  It looks like I have been missing alot.

I believed this sharing are reaching out people from every tribe and nations,

and were touched and are encouraged and are enlightened.

Let's all keep on getting the word of God be out into the world,

for souls to be added into the Kingdom of God.

Keep doing brother what you are doing in obedience to the calling and to the word of God in your life.

You're such a blessing to many, in one way or another.  You may or may not know but God knows.

Well well well :)

Does Delight means laugh out loud and dance??

Does Delight means the way you smile when u watch something hilarious??

If u take a close look the scripture says that Delight Yourself in the Lord

Now let’s see the meaning of this verse and what exactly King David Means :)

Delight yourself in Him means find joy in serving Him and make your heart moldable in His hands

King David praised God with his songs and he was happy with the lord always

to be precise the happiness which u get when u serve God is mentioned her as Delight and not the happiness which the world gives

Now let’s see about the word Give ------ Many were under a wrong perception that we can ask whatever we want and God will give that ; and that's not true ; this is the reason why many of our prayers aren't answered

Lets turn our hearts to this scripture James 4:3 here it says like

" When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures"

Our Prayers should be based on God's Word and in accordance to his will

if your prayers aren't according to his will then  it’s like beating a dead horse you won’t get any answers

Always remember God will never answer prayers which contradicts his Will

he doesn't want you to suffer ; Dad knows what’s best for his children

So the Word GIVE doesn't mean to pass on a nice gift but rather "make a change in you"  as in give you a new hair color

• God will give you the kinds of internal desires/attitudes you should have, such as patience and kindness.

So when you serve the lord and delight in him he will put his desires in your heart

Your heart belongs to God your petitions and prayers will align with his Will

His Desire's  becomes your desire

Be encouraged today because God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

Delight yourself in Him—find joy in serving Him

so commit to the lord, surrender your life to him, sit back and enjoy the Blessed Life to which he has paid the price for!

What are the desires of one's heart? What does it mean "To delight yourself in the Lord?

Have you looked into the face of someone whom you helped, who needed that help so badly?  The smile and relief in that face, kind of melts your heart.  The joy I feel when I help someone out is so overwhelming and I think that is what God wants.  Helping others in need is what the Lord wants from us, sharing His gifts with others.  Delighting in Him is doing His will ( my view).  If we desire the things that are Godly, God will be delighted with us and give us our desires.  Let us pray that He who gives all things, will help make His desires, the desires of our hearts.  Let our desires not be of worldly things, but spiritual.

Its easier said than done, but when we give our time and love to the things of God, our desires will be geared towards His desire.
