John, I pray that our Lord will give you wisdom in this matter. Don't ascribe everything to this renter. He is gone and now you can go on. I pray your next renter will be and bring a more healthy situation. In Jesus name.

Sometimes as believers, we generate soul ties. I know if I were you I'd be praying for the renter or at least about the rental situation. You can form a link between you and that person. Pray and specifically ask God to break those ties that may have been established. Use the name above all names, Jesus Christ.

Also, did he leave something behind? He was there for 7 years. Like books, pictures? Not saying this is what happened, but spells need something to travel on whether it's an object (like a very bad book or a picture drawn on a wall), water, fire or air (like spoken words). Just walk through and look carefully. If he had access to the attic or the basement check there, open the windows and look inside. You get the idea. Be thorough and pray as you do it. If there's something there, I believe God will show it to you. The worst that could happen, is you will walk through your house and pray. Take care of some spiritual business. Our God is greater.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)

But Roy does have a good point, don't ascribe everything to the renter.  And don't think too much more about him. You can pray about the next renter.

Thank you Roy and Mary. I am cleaning the room (bleach everything, and paint, he was physically very dirty), and will pray over this. I will pray for all soul ties to be broken, and I don't think he left anything. there will be no new room rented.

 

It was just such an unusual feeling, I have not felt in a long time.  I'm closer to God, than I ever was, (PRAISE GOD!!) and the evil one will send every firey dart he can.

That unusual feeling was the holy spirit telling you something's wrong. I get those feelings once in a while. I feel a heaviness or get nauseated. I'm like...This can't be good. And then I pray a lot when that happens.

Me too, Mary. Once I fasted 24 hours, and since then, a big victory over a 'feeling', so I need to do more of that.
