The enemy will attack where there is a weakness. But we need to Stand in the Love of Christ, and fight back with His Great Love! We need to Fight for every soul here.
So Let us come against anything that is not of Christ, and Stand in Jesus name. Let us pray for His protection and Wisdom and Discernment. JEsus is leading many people here, and He cares for each and every one! He Loves all of us...How can even have the Words to express such a tremendous Love which He has. We need to care that much too! However, it is not in our own strength that we are capable of such a Tremendous Love...It is only by spending time with the Lord and in His Word, where we can come to such a point. Thank you for bringing this out 'into the Light'. God Bless you. Carla
Christ can never be divided. The enemy has been identified.
Carla is so right when she says we could never accomplish victory in our own strength.
But we can report that ONCE AGAIN he HAS FAILED. Harmony will be restored and be sure that he will come back looking for revenge. It is our responsibility as the body of Christ
to stand against him.
Please keep in mind, that satan - with a lower case "s" would not want to waste time in another attempt at destroying the harmony that will exist here once again. But he will fail again.
Your Brother in Christ - Ron.
Amen. The battle rages on, but through the cross the victory is assured. Men will be men, with all our frailty in the flesh. Jesus will always be Jesus, the Living Son of God, the unchangable One, King of kings and Lord of lords.
I am talking about the contentions of sectarianism.Apostle Paul also said about this in I corinthians 1:10-13. " Now i plead with you brethren . by the name of our Lord Jesus christ. That you all speak the same thing, and there be no divisions among you , but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgement. For it has been declared to me concerning you , my bretheren, by those of chole's house holds, that there are contentions among you . Now i say this , that each of you says , "I am of paul" , or "I am of Appolos" or "I am of Cephas" or "I am of Christ".Is christ divided ? Was Paul crucified for you ? Or were you baptized in the name of paul.?
I am agree with carla and Ron Payne. We must fight against sectaranism because sactarinism is sin.
Good discussion...The way I see it is we are warrior brides, and yes we must fight, but lets keep our eyes on our CAPTAIN to know where HE is working. The battle belongs to the Lord...AND...He has WON it!!! Sometimes the best thing we can do is rest in HIM! We only need to direct our attention to Christ to be sure to move where HE is moving, and stay in HIM. We can do nothing without HIM. Since HE has already won the battle we only need to stay close to HIM. He will help us no matter what we are going through.
People are never our enemy. Jesus loves ALL PEOPLE...no matter what they are doing. Truly it saddens HIM when we are sinning, arguing or disagreeing on things, and the enemy of our souls loves it if he can keep us under his yoke, doing things, rather than praising and worshipping our risen LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.
That's one of the reasons I love this website. There are godly men and women loving and supporting and pointing us to the truth.
PRAYER: Holy Spirit we ask you to make us fully alive that we can concentrate on loving and supporting each other. Help us to help each other Lord, and to lend a helping hand to any who may be seeking, struggling or may have fallen off the path, and win them back through loving them with the love of Christ.
Yes! Mary Anne,
Carla has also made the same form of comment. It is because we already have the victory that depletes the rusty armour our foes use against us. Let us look forward to that great day when our Father will bring this battle to conclusion and we can get on with the great things He has in store waiting for us.
"And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." Rev 22:3-5
