Wineskin
Ok Family, i got another question. For sometime now i have felt this scripture was being worked out in my life. Just through my suffering and circumstances, i do believe the Lord is making me "new Wineskin" in order to put new wine in me; which i believe is his love and knowledge of himself to me. Basically making me over completely.
Here is the verse Matthew 9: 17 Neither do men pour new wine into old wineskins. If they do, the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.
I can not help but think that this upheaval of my life is the Lord's doing or either he allowed it; in order to kill my flesh "my own desires". Making me new wineskin and the new wine is my thoughts and perception of him; ultimately resulting in his will being manifested in my life. I want to make sure i have the right concept for this scripture. With All scripture, i try to apply to my life as it is. What do you think family?

When we are "Born Again" behold all things become new. 2Cor 5:17 Whoever is a believer in Christ is a new creation. The old way of living has disappeared. A new way of living has come into existence. We must be able to receive, the Teachings of Jesus. Matt 9:12-13 When Jesus heard that, he said, "Healthy people don't need a doctor; those who are sick do. Learn what this means: 'I want mercy, not sacrifices.' I've come to call sinners, not people who think they have God's approval."What held the old way of thinking, cannot hold the Love of Christ. Holy Spirit must make a way, a "new wineskins" so the Spirit and Jesus can live inside of us. New wineskins for new Teaching, new living, and new way of thinking.
So yes Marty I believe you have the right concept for this scripture, " Making me new wineskin and the new wine is my thoughts and perception of him;" I know you are hanging in there, I believe many are Praying for you. I know that you are open the the Spirits leading. Be it walking through the door, in front of you. {waiting for the funding} Or, something else. I know you are humble and desire to Serve the Lord.
