I am not trying to minimize the truth and concern in your statements with my following comments, but only trying to remind us of other truths that will guard our heart in the time and condition the Church finds itself.

 

There is nothing new under the sun. The Church has suffered the same kinds of attacks from within and from the outside from its birth. Revelations speaks of the condition of the 7 churches, which conditions, churches have shared throughout church history. 

 

God remains in control, but we are not to be passive in our walk, we should be very active in our prayer life and in reaching out to those mislead inside and outside the church.

While many are drowsy, many are awake and aware of what is going on.  Jesus is coming soon, we must be in prayer that the church wakes up.  For the fields are ripe.  This is the Day that the Lord has made...

When we suggest things are not right in the church we must take a good look at who the church is.  One of the thoughts that always bothers me is the fact that we leave a congregation for another because we weren't getting what we needed or we want to head off on mission fields somewhere else.  I always have to stop and wonder why did The Lord put us where we are. Are we listening. And please I am not saying there aren't times to make a move but just why are we making the move.
