Thank you dear sister and I can tell you are a powerhouse for the Lord in the making : ) I love the words of our dear brother, Keith Green, who has gone on to be with the Lord, but left us a great heritage of his music such as the song NO COMPROMISE!!! That's where its at, no compromise..

I do know what you are saying amanda because sometimes I feel the same way some days I question and question and question but if it starts to steal too much of my time hibernate with the lord for a few days, pray in tongues a LOT and play worship music all more (like all day) when I get a day off work. I find after doing that I am usually good to go again. My job is with the public too so I have no choice but to put on a happy face even when I am not so happy. I do tell people that God does change us but He does not change the fact that we are still human and He gave us emotions for a reason. I guess too that I spent so many years wasting away in dark depression that I just can't allow it to get a toe hold. The onluy way I can do this now is because of jesus. My heary goes out to people who suffer and I wish I could take away. Their painm. I find it very difficult to live in this world because of it. Lord bless you dear friend!

hi Nancy

this may sound a bit strange , but suffering can be a good thing, i'll explain the reason, there are many hurting people, they look at you, or i, and say you don't know what i am going through and many times they are right, but God often allows us to suffer in order to help others, when i have gone through the suffering and come out on the other side rejoicing that The Holy Spirit brought me through, now i am able to help others in the situation and tell them God can bring them through as he did me, many christians in other parts of the world are murdered or tortured for their faith, look into scripture and see what paul and many others went through, i learned a small portion of this as i had to be willing to die for Jesus, as God sent me to Albania to preach to a group of hardcore muslims, they wanted to murder me, but God said no, but they had to see that The God of the bible was not allah, their god who they will die for, if i am not willing to die for Jesus why in the world would a muslim listen to me, he'll die for his religion and his false god, and the religion teaches, you and i  are infidels, if after a certain point we will not become a muslim we must die, so much for the surface talk of being a peace loving religion, we often think Jesus said come and dine,but in reality, He said come and die, "he/she who looses their life for my sake will gain" i did paraphrase it a bit, look up" seed " in the gospels, the Love of Christ comes very powerfully in the midst of our hurting, and suffering, weather it is our fault because of sin we have done, God disciplines us, or weather it has nothing to do with us, the example of Job, if i claim to be a christian and never suffer something is wrong, Jesus said "if they persecuted me they will persecute you also", the ones that really scar me are the ones with plastic smiles who nothing ever goes wrong, if Satan or his demons never bother us perhaps it is because they don't need to because we are still his, P.S. don't apologize if this question is offensive to any one they have a problem not you, i encourage you get radical for Jesus pray for those who are hurting and recognize God is doing a deeper work he will never allow us to go through more than we can bear up under, or in other words, not even the Devil himself can take us out unless God allows it and he will give us the strength at the time we need it, he may prepare us ahead of time but he gives us the strength when we need it, be encouraged when we come to Jesus our life is in his hands, this may sound strange but the best thing that could happen to us is we die, no matter how, because we would be with Jesus therefore no more suffering, pain, turmoil, but pure love joy peace etc. in the presence of HIs Majesty, but he leaves us here for a purpose and that is to reach the lost, he wants to speak through us to the lost and dying, those he brings into our lives, so pray for divine appointments, and speak to them as he gives opportunity, everyone knows they are a sinner, one way to bring it to light is ask them have you ever lied? they most often say of course, ask, have you ever stole any thing ? most common ans. no, oh come on now, even something small like a cookie , pencil, etc. ans. well ya, have you ever looked lustfully at a women/man? most common answer ya well we all do that, were human, oh you just told me you are a lying, thieving, adulator, God calls that all sin but the good news is you can be forgiven through the cross of Jesus, etc. stand strong in the Lord he loves us more then we can ever imagine, hope this encourages you and draws you closer to Jesus, P.S. we often mix our thoughts of love with emotion, feelings, or the world, where in truth love is an action i am to love you, weather i feel warm fusses or not i am to love all and forgive all as Jesus has done for me, 1Cor. 13:4-8

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.Love never fails". ... Actually what you have said enlightens me even further on something the Lord has been already putting on my heart Roy. It is more confirmation for me thankyou so very much my brother. THANKYOU FATHER!! Just would appreciate your prayers for more courage and strength. Since on the inside I tend to REALLY brave yet I am actually very shy on the flip side. I know the only way and the only reason I can have courage the times that I do is because it comes from our Lord. Thankyou once again for all of your input here. Love you all in Christ

 sis that's great i encourage you to pray for boldness, you will overcome your shyness, as it will be the Holy Spirit speaking through you, and he is going to take you to heights you cannot even imagine, i'll pray for you as God brings you to mind, i would ask that you would pray for me and pray for the persecuted church around the world

Every day I pray for thepersecuted church. And we pray this before every biBle study each weak. I will certainly pray for you and all of those facing persection for Jesus' name sake. Thankyou Roy. God bless you and keep you!
