Hi Lucy, in my opinion, given the accounts you mentioned, he might just be  probably trying to make your small talk more interesting by stating you look familiar. But in every small talk between opposite sex, one cannot discount the possibility that it could lead to developing that casual and superficial interest into something less superficial and no longer casual. Some friendships develop this way... it does not necessarily mean what you described is already flirting but no one can say it will never lead to something like it. Always seek the Lord's guidance and the protection of the Holy Spirit when interacting with strangers for reasons you might know already. God bless! (",)
