Thank you George, for adding this forum on inner peace through Jesus Christ. I know that for me peace has been an important part of my healing.

There once was a contest for a painter to paint a painting that best represented peace.
Some of the paintings were of sunsets over the ocean, some of quiet village in the mountain.
To everyone’s surprise the painting that won the contest was of a raging river with a tree that had fallen into it and there in the branches was a bird nest with baby birds and the mother bird.

Some believe that all the conflict has to be removed before we can have peace.
This is not the case, we will always have conflict, but our peace can still remain.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Peace is like an anchor for our souls, which in Jesus holds secure no matter how strong the storm is that we are facing. Even in loss.

My Anchor holds

Father, I pray that your will help us not to let our hearts be trouble, nor let them be afraid. Help us to embrace peace that passes understanding that comes only from you in the name of Jesus.

Righteous Father, in the name of Jesus i pray, as the world is getting worst, may you continue to sanctify your children by the truth; your word is truth. I pray oh God, may the peace you offer to your children through your only begotten son Jesus Christ, be felt by everyone and be not troubled by what's happenning in our surroundings. May each and everyone of us learned to depend on you and help us to think always of your goodness in us. May we put into practice what we have learned, received and heard from you, for in doing such things I know peace will remain in our hearts. thank you so much father God for granting my prayer, in Jesus name, Amen!!!!

Father God, Jesus said, "peace I give unto you, not the peace that is in the world that only comes when we have brief times without trouble, but the peace inspire of our circumstances, so we should not let our hearts be troubled or afraid.” Thank you for that kind of peace in our lives today. For all those who are alone, those who are separated, those who are receiving divorce papers, those who are raising children alone. I pray for the widow and the widower, Father we all need this peace that come from you. We know you love us and you will never leave or forsake us, or days are in your hand, you will take care of you own and we will declare our redeemer is faithful and true.We will keep running to you until we see your face and we will know your peace. In Jesus name we pray.
