Somehow your saying that ladies are angels but promoting that they are slaves and endorsing that revealing not modest dress.
Amen MT. Past should be a lesson for us. God grace never changes so why change the women modest appearance. Please allow me to cite a example. If you are saying you are true Christian and I'm the unbeliver, you are wearing a t-shirt with print of beer, cigars, half naked women and alike. What do you think i would say about you? if it is your mother, wife or sister picture chained and printed on that shirt, would you allow it?
Believers actions and words are our testimony of Gods grace, honor and power.
Larry - I'm the kind of guy that gets baptized in a t shirt that says "Atheism: A Non Prophet Organization" Symbolism of that wasn't lost on anyone there.
I wore that top (with the woman) to a Christian festival last year. Only 1 person commented on it. He was running a coffee shop where people could chat and receive prayer. I told him about my past and everything else about me. At the end of festival he commented that it very much reflected my past and he made a bet with me that by that time next year (which is now this year) I wouldn't be wearing it. I don't wear it as much now but I still love it. I also have a top with a skull on fire which is made up of smaller skulls on fire and a T shirt that says "To save time, let's just assume I know everything!" (mate of mine got me that one) But I also have a t shirt from the Not Ashamed campaign and I wear that to work sometimes.
I wear these because I like wearing them, not to make a statement though I am aware people will take it as a statement. People know I'm a Christian but not because of what I wear in terms of clothing. They know it because I talk about Jesus and church and other related activities in my life. Surely that's more important than what I wear?
YES IT DOES. I know I no longer care to wear many of the T shirts I have. I think we need to walk the walk, talk the talk and dress in a way that is pleasing to God. If we put on clothing that does otherwise, I think it gives others the right to question if we really are following Christ.
I have a T shirt that say's, " Some people are alive today simply because it's illegal to kill them" When I purchased it, I thought it was funny.(I'm a cop and we have a warped sense humor). I now look at that T as very un Christian, so I don't wear it.
The same applies to all mannor of dress.
Just my thoughts.
God is so cool, God bless

2 Corinthians 5:17 God changes not just inward but also our outward appearance.
please allow me to cite an example again. just my thought: if i am a metallic drug rock singer and Gods saved me.
what do you think the changes that would take place. sing a christian lyrics songs of course.
But how about i will sing christian lyrics song and my hair is long and unruly, my shirts is metallic drug rock dresses, wearing that evils tattoo.I will not say a word, just look at me... just look at me...what do you think? am i a new creation? just my thought. tnx.
Everything is a process. Every believer is in the hand of the Potter. Removing every rough edges to be use for His wonderful purpose.
Habit is hard to break, involuntary in nature. Gods grace is sufficient for everyone.
Christian living is a learning process but not chosing the hardway to learned.
As long as we live in this flesh we will not be perfect but we can live in righteousness thru the grace of our loving God. tnx
Romans 6:13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life and offer the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness.
Expose flesh that causes temptations. Clothing with unpleasant print that is suggesting to sin or an instrument to wickedness.
Unbeliever and yet modest in their clothing, shame on those who called themselves believers but yet don't know how to conduct themselves properly.
