Welcome to AAG.  You mention in your profile that you want to know about God.  His name is Jesus Christ.  He was crucified and died, rose back to life to defeat sin and death and reconcile us with the Father in Heaven.  Jesus came to us as God in Human Form to reconcile us and reintroduce us to the Father who is Spirit.  When we are born here on earth, we are separated from God because of our sin.  Jesus died for us to satisfy God's anger and wrath toward sin.  Because of sin, we could never be reconciled to God...we will never do enough good deeds.  Even all of our efforts are like filthy rags to God.  We need Jesus.  When we admit and repent of our sin (agree with God about our sin and turn away from it) we are forgiven.  Once we are forgiven, God looks at us and sees the perfection of Jesus... HE doesn't see our sin any more once we repent of it and believe that Jesus died and rose again back to life to save us.  HE gives us a new heart, and a new spirit.  He gives us the Holy Spirit to counsel and guide us in our new lives... We become New Creations.  That's why it's called being 'born again'.  Do you believe this?

You don't mention anything about Jesus at all.  Do you know HIM?

Hi Jason,

I asked this on your other blog as well... but I'll ask it again here.  Are you Buddhist?  If not, what 'god' are you talking about?
