Your mind belongs to Jesus!

It can sometimes be pretty hard to control our minds especially with thoughts never seem to flee with ungodly thoughts. But those are just mere feelings that are convincing you not to depend on the word of God. Because the word of God tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5- casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,. You know the inner thoughts you can hear from your conscience. That can either plague your mind with guilt, fear, shame, rebellion, sexual immorality, etc. These are things that the devil loves to used against us, if we do not renew are mind daily. As the word of God says in Romans 12:2- And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. You know this is the same struggle that the apostle Paul had to deal with in Romans 7:21-25-

I find then a law, that evil is present with me, the one who wills to do good. ²² For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man. ²³ But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. ²⁴ O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? ²⁵ I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord!

So then, with the mind I myself serve the law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin. You know there is always a war going on in our mind. You know a will to do God's will and there is our own desires. As the word of God says in Galatians 5:17- For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. Even our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did not want to handle the cup of suffering. As the word of God says in Mark 14:36-nd He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.” Thanks be to God that Jesus submitted to the God's will. And remember Saints Jesus knows how it is when you don't want to submitted to his will. That's why he is our Perfect High Priest. As the word of God says in Hebrews 2:17 -Therefore, in all things He had to be made like His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people. But in the battle of the mind the devil likes to throw his fiery darts in our mind and then have our minds engulf with these kinds of thoughts. AS the word of God says in Ephesians 6:16-above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. This why it is vital that you put your armor on and cover your head with the helmet of salivation. Because when you put your helmet on it will keep you in the knowledge of God and keep you in the mind of Christ. AS the word of says in 1 Corinthians 2:16- For “who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?”^[a] But we have the mind of Christ. Unless you have God thoughts , you won't be able to stand against those fiery darts that tried to enter your mind gate. Thoughts can come in like rivers and then sometimes like flood and drag you away from the truth. Where you can be overtaken by those thoughts they can make you defile. AS the word of God says in Titus 1:15-To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. Because if you believe your thoughts especially if they are not align with God's will for your life then you'll become what your thoughts are. AS the word of God says in Proverbs 23:7-For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. This why it is vital to know who you are in Christ Jesus, because if it not the devil can rob you of your spiritual blessings that are yours in Christ Jesus. AS the word of God says in Mark 4:15-And these are the ones by the wayside where the word is sown. When they hear, Satan comes immediately and takes away the word that was sown in their hearts. Because the devil knows that once you get God's word in your heart and mind you will be set free from his deceptions and your own. And it will cause you not to sin against God. As the word of God says in John 8:31-32-³¹ Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. ³² And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” And also Psalm 119:11-Your word I have hidden in my heart,
That I might not sin against You. So saints if you battle thoughts in your mind. It's time to take hold of your mind, and put a stop to all the devil lies. Remember who you belong to you and that is Jesus Christ.God bless in your struggle with the mind in Jesus Name.
