You can not run the race if you are overweight ok!!!….

In any race…. One who join must be physical fit. This refers to a runner making sure that all extra weights have been removed from his body. A 300 pound man isn't ready to run a marathon.
Image and video hosting by TinyPic In the spiritual arena, this refers to anything that hinders our walk with God. It speaks of things that are innocent in and of themselves, but when they slow you down in the Christian race, they are weights and they must go…

But what is this overweight referring in this blog?
Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize?

They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like a man running aimlessly; I do not fight like a man beating the air.- 1 Corinthians 9:24-26

When we are running in a race we lay aside every weight in able to get the crown that God promise.

Lay aside the sin that clings so closely.
One thing why we can not run the race with confidence that we can meet the goal to finish the race is because of our SIN... yes.. when we repent.. it must be a 180 degrees turn.. not 360! and that's the reason why we still doing said SINS...

A successful run, then, requires running within the boundaries that God has set. In other words, faithful obedience is an indispensable aspect of our spiritual lives.

God blessed you and make us doers of His words and our messages. In Jesus name. Amen!

This preparation is ongoing also, just like physical activity keeps us healthy, so we must not become idol or we will begin to gain back the weight we have lost. The biggest mistake many make is to think they should retire from the race before it is finished, it is finished when we cross the finish line in Heaven.

Yes, Kathleen. We will win the race only by having Jesus Christ in our life. God bless you forever.
