... I just found out there is such a thing as offline blog editors. I've just downloaded one called BlogDesk, and I'm using to to write this post.
They say that it saves time and it is much easier to use. So if you're a keen blogger, why not give it a spin.
One catch though...
BlogDesk is only compatible with Windows. But my guess is that there would be something suitable out there for Macs.
Anyhow, here's the link ... http://weblogs.about.com/od/offlineblogeditors/fr/BlogDeskReview.htm
(And another catch ... I can't use the blogs on Ning with it, so I've just had to copy/paste from Wordpress.)
One other little drawback... BlogDesk doesn't support Blogger. Well, that doesn't really worry me because I use mainly Wordpres anyhow.
For Mac users.....
I did find some software that you might like to try, called ecto and costs about $18. http://pcworld.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://ecto.kung-foo.tv/
I hope this is all helpful to someone. Maybe a lot of you may have known this, and I might be a bit behind the times. At least I've discovered it now, and I can continue to power with blogs for God!! :-) I'm stoked!!!
