Why Angels Suffer No Return (Is God unfair?)

I had this come to me recently.

I wondered, what about angels? Not so much what is their purpose, because the bible tells us they are messengers. What I did wonder, however, is why did some angels fall with satan? I have been told before that angels do not possess free-will, or a free spirit. So I had to of course wonder how then did some them fall?

This is what came to me the other night as I pondered this question. Angels DO own an ability to make their own choices; they do possess the essence of free-will. What they do not own is permission from God to exercise that right to an extent equal ours. To repeat, God does not grant angels a right to utilize free-will in the same manner as we do! How did I come to this conclusion?

I came to this through a series of thoughts, of course, lol. Let me briefly explain, though. When Adam and Eve were created and set in the garden, God purposfully gave them a choice--to eat or not to eat. He knew the humans would fail the test, but the test was presented still the same (to our honor). Knowing that the fall would occur, God generated a plan for the future salvation of these funny-looking people. If He had not a plan to save us, He would not have given us a choice to begin with. God created us to live. God's granting us the right to utilize free-will within the context of choosing between obedience and disobedience was and is an honor not to be made fun or defiled by human governances! (but that's another topic, lol) Ok, so then, what about angels. Still, why did angels not receive the right to utilize free will, and how come they are not offered a path to salvation after their fall?

Simply put, God created angels with a unique and separate purpose. They exemplify God's postal service, if you will :) ... They comprise a very distinct agenda established by God. Angels were never to function as free-spirited beings (even though they possess an ability to do so). They never received a choice between obedience and disobedience. And in not offering angels that right, God also did not construct a plan of salvation for angels. They simply had no right to fall!

So, if you ever wondered why angels were not given a path to salvation, you now have my explanation :D Although, I believe it to be the Lord's, as well. I wouldn't come up with this stuff on my own, lol :D
