WHAT IF !

What if truth is gone, that no person speaks it anymore,

misdirecting those who are seeking, instead of rich making poor,

Instead of being open and welcome its closed like a fortress,

shut cut off to those outside crying in distress.

As for Me this is My promise to them, My Holy Spirit will never leave them,

they that want the good and hate the wrong, take no rest all You who pray,

what if the doors of My House were flung open this day,

instead of traps laid, made clear is the way,

that leads to life eternally that leads My lost sheep back to Me,

releasing chains setting them free, once more bringing praise to Me,

instead of pain racking the heart, for all the built up sorrow to depart,

forgotten forever in the deepest sea, when those that are Mine,

come home to me.
