What I have written, I have written.(KING OF THE JEWS)

Shortly after Judas Iscariot (a disciple of Jesus) helped Jesus fulfill the prophecy of Psalm 41:9 by handing him over (betraying him) to the Roman authorities, Jesus was asked by Pontius Pilate "What have you done wrong?"-John 18

Jesus replied "My kingdom is not of this world".  Later on Jesus says "Those who are on the side of TRUTH listen to me, and in John 8, He says "Anyone who obeys my words will Never die".

What does Jesus mean by not of this world?  And truth?  And never die?

We know that Jesus never sinned, and we know that he came into the world to bring sinners to repentance.

So what is sin?  And what is repentance?  Why all these questions?

We can answer these questions in two different ways.  The way we know and the way we don't know. -2Corinthians 4:18

The way we Don't know is the way we aren't used to.  The things we cannot see.  The things that the human race knew way before we advanced so much in our technology and global communication and media and science.  Things like our imagination and our purity.  Jesus said in Matthew 18:3 ; If you want to inherit the kingdom of god you must be like a child.  A child has not been taught the ways of the world.  Has not felt the burden of responsibility, and has never intentionally sinned.  Innocence.  Innocence.  The things unseen are ETERNAL.  The Bible calls it Spirit.

The way we know..What we are used to.. What we have seen.. What we have been taught by others who have been taught by others is what is seen.  what we know.  The Bible calls it Flesh.

If we want eternal life and if we want to know God, We can have it.  It's something that is very hard to accomplish if we don't know the way.  Jesus is the way.  He is who he says he is.  It's an amazing thing.  His purpose in life was to show us the way.

John 19:19 tells the story of the sign that Pilate put on the top of the Cross Jesus was crucified on.  It said in three different languages "Jesus of Nazareth: The king of the Jews"  The Chief Priest of the Jews said "Don't put that on there, instead say This man said he was the king of the Jews". 

Pilate replied "What I have written, I have written".

Our Lord Jesus came into this world on behalf of God to show us and teach us a way to enter his kingdom.  He taught his disciples to make disciples of their own and to reach every corner of the world.  His kingdom is here.  Now.  We are all invited.  It's not make-believe.  It's REAL and HERE and NOW.   Awesome News ! :)

In John 16, Jesus says that there are others besides the Jews that belong to him.  Our Lord and Savior has shown us the way.  He is the king of kings and lord of lords.  He is the King in the Kingdom of heaven.  We all have an opportunity to live there.  We must die to self.  Let's Take up our Cross and follow him.  

FAITH IS NOT A BELIEF IN SOMETHING THAT YOU CAN'T SEE.

FAITH IS BELIEVING IN SOMETHING THAT YOU ALLOW YOURSELF TO SEE.

WE ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN.  WE ALL WILL INHERIT HIS KINGDOM IF WE CHOOSE TO.
