What it means to walk in the Spirit, is to walk spiritually with purpose, balance, observation and action. Keeping your eyes on Jesus and winning the tug of war to be led by the Holy Spirit rather than allowing your soul to rule over your choices and decisions.
Walking in the Spirit is the process of your soul learning to relinquish control, and let God take charge of your life. Always remember, you are His work in process!
Think of traffic lights and what the colours mean. Now think of the spiritual.
Green - body, wants/desires of the flesh, go go go!
Orange - warning signal - slow down, something's not right here. 'I'm not sure if I should be doing this.'
Red - stop. Consult God. Wait for His answer.
Walking in the Spirit.
