I used to be a part of Hoxton Park Anglican church and was tough to attack Catholics, The nation of Islam and non-Christians, I was blinded to see I was being un-loving to my family.
When I was asked a question on money and the church so I could have explained it to an non-Christian, I also said a few things on facebook why do people use the Bible and God’s name in vain I was blasted because for (a) I’m not a Christian for asking such questions and (b) I was condemned for saying by Hoxton Park Anglican leaders with them saying “If you want to talk about Christ you have to go through us first you can’t do it on your own because you have no training as a Pastor” Also their actions fired me from the Children’s Ministry.
I had sometime to think things through and I left that church and publicly let my friends know I will no longer be apart of that church and got a man who I thought was a brother to me. Came over to my place and said “You are not a Christian because you are leaving Hoxton Park Anglican.” Also he attacked my father for not raising me right and attacked my little sister’s reasons why she left Hoxton Park Anglican.
I’m asking you as fellow Christians does this sound like how Christians should act? When I done everything they asked of me and attacked me when I question things and attacking my family. Also do you think I’m still a Christian for leaving a church because of their hypocritical actions and wanting to learn from a more loving church?
Please help me I am confused.
Lucas Barrows.
