Unite in Prayer

May God Himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Thessalonians 5:23

Holiness means wholeness. God wants holy people who are whole-hearted and true, for His service and for the work of praying. These are the sort of people God wants leaders and these are the kind out of which the praying class is formed.

When a person prays every part of his being unites with God in prayer. Man unites in all the essentials and acts of piety. Soul, spirit, and body must unite in all things pertaining to life and godliness.

Dear God, I want to be part of Your praying people. Make me whole and holy for Your service. Amen!
