Scriptural Readings: Luke 6:12
It is very alarming for us Christians still to be in a place in our spiritual status of barreness. When was the last time that we were on our knees begging God for His wisdom or totally wasted crying for His presence in our lives?
Luke 6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.
God has always been in a position to hear and we will always be in a helpless position. This is totally and perfectly true. We should never rely on having a comfort zone.
The only place of rest is trusting and having a strong faith in the Son of God Jesus. What God wants is our humbled hearts. We can memorize the bible but if our hearts is not right with God all our undertakings would be pure and undefiled uselessness.
Our distance to God is just a prayer away. What we have to put into our whole spirit, soul and body is the fact that we are God's children a co-heir with Jesus Christ. We have a relationship with our God that can never be doubted. Our problems might be compounded but our God through Jesus Christ will never ever fail us. The pain and miseries that we having right now is just telling us to draw near to Him. The same thing when we were hurt as we go running straight to mom and dad. This is the same thing that our Father in heaven is telling us now. Jesus said I will never leave you nor forsake you. Come to me who are heavily laden and I will give you rest.
We should not use the accusing finger. We should stop blaming each other. We should not continue with our petty fights and bickerings. These are pointless efforts
Let us all come boldly to throne of grace with one prayer. Let the Holy Spirit flow and comfort us.
Heavenly Father, we come to your Holy presence as your children. We are hurting. We need you. We simply cannot overcome something with out You. Thank you for your Son Jesus for letting us shorten the distance for we can come boldly unto Your presence. Let Your Holy Spirit continue to comfort us. We claim all of these through Your Son Jesus our Lord and savior. Amen
