The time we were born

Birthdays yes everyone has them just different times of the year.Its a sensitive subject but its real.I maybe grown now but I will never forget how I was teased by peers in school just because I was born in December.They used to go how old are you? Whens your birthday? I d say December and theyd rub it in my face Im older than you Im older than you.They thought they were bad because they were older than me by months of the same year.Obviously December is the last month of the year so yeah were rarely are going to be older than those born the same year. Also December borns we can get our birthdays overshadowed by Christmas regardless of when in Dec were born.Sadly very few people have shown me sympathy on this including my late mom.She would go I cant change it or there wasnt a thing she could do about it, um you could had been empathetic to the teasing I faced due to the month I was born.Except 1 person everyone was pretty much unsympathetic to this issue.Theyd say shut the f up, stop crying, grow up, get over it, no sympathy, Im cookoo, my day didnt matter just another day,everyone has to wait 12 months for their next birthday, cheer up at least you wont turn annother year older until end of the year.My old friend Valerie born on February 23rd was the only person ever to empathize we were talking birthdays on the phone and letters.She said hers was February 23rd and whens mine and I said December 9th and she went dont it seem like it take forever for your birthday to come.I said yes, unlike mom she couldnt change my day but at least she sympathized with me and was the only person to do so.Kids were cruel in school and one reasons I was attacked was just because even though we were born the same year their birthdays usually came before mines. Think about it Valerie was right December does take a while to come. Always will be the youngest of peers and last to celebrate birthdays.

She didn't either as far as I know. Now, when she got older, she didn't get the big shindig either cause it as at Christmas. However, we gave her the party in July & would give her a swimming party. So, we always made up for it. Thank you for sharing that Eric. Love you guys.

I have something to share with you that is so special that I'll never forget you from this day forward. My mother has been dead now for 10 years this past July. Other than my husband & own children, she was the most dear person in my life. When she died, it was a shock. It was unexpected & I was totally devastated as well as anyone who she ever came in contact with because the lives she touched was incredible. You know what? This incredible woman's birthday was on December 9. You were born on the most special day in the entire year. The Lord chose to bring you into this world on the same exact date that He chose to bring that awesome Godly woman into this world. They were different years but they were the same dates. Another great thing about a December birthday is they are going to be out shopping anyways so they shouldn't have an excuse for not buying you anything.

One last thing you should tell all of those in your old graduating class you made fun of you - You may have laughed at me then but look who is laughing now. I'm YOUNGER than any of you & all of you wish you were younger than me now.

I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Ps 139:14 - Always remember this verse Daniel. You were FEARFULLY & WONDERFULLY made. HE created you. Yes, your mama gave u birth but HE created you. For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother's womb. Ps 139:13
