“The Spotless Wedding Gown”
The Bride is getting ready; trimming her wedding gown.
The Groom is waiting patiently to hear that trumpet sound.
The banquet table is spread; angels ready to start the wedding song.
The Father soon will give the word, “Son, go bring your bride home.”
At the Father’s command, the Son of God will shout the Jubilee.
While Gabriel blows his horn and the angels sing with glee.
Oh, what a celebration, when the bridegroom takes her hand;
and leads her to that home, that for her He has planned.
She has cross many rivers; rode the waves for such a long time.
She’s been trimming her wedding garment, with her Groom on her mind.
She’s making sure the spots are gone, and the wrinkles are pressed down.
She’s going to the wedding feast, in her spotless wedding gown.
She can see it in her mind, her family and friends will be there.
They wait by the gates of that home so bright and fair.
She knows that each trial here is but a stepping stone;
and that when her Groom comes for her, no more will she roam.

Amen!
I do hope and pray that when that trumpet sound,
He will find us all ready and is without spot.
