The Secret Of a Successful Life

The secular people always have a certain thought that their success is only for temporary, for example by the time they’ve got retired, they’ll think that they loose their life function and feel abandoned.

We, as Christian (=followers of Christ ), are the people who rely on our lives to Christ, always surrender ourselves to HIM, as we believe that success will always along with us until the end of our lives.

The bible writes down the key to gain success, which are :
I . As the book of Psalm 1 : 1 – 3 says :
Blessed is the man who :
1. Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly.
2. Nor stands in the path of sinners (= He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly ; He who despises the gain of oppressions ; Who gestures with his hands, refusing bribes ; Who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed ; And shuts his eyes from seeing evil ~ Isaiah 33 : 15 )
3. Nor sits in the seat of the scornful

BUT HIS DELIGHT IS IN THE LAW OF LORD, AND IN HIS LAW MEDITATES DAY N NIGHT, he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water. That brings forth its fruit in its season. Whose leaf also shall not wither ; And whatever he does shall PROSPER.


II. James 4 : 13 – 14 :
“ Come now, you who say , “ Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy n sell, and make profit ; whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.”

NEVER RELY ON YOUR OWN STRENGTH, BUT ALWAYS INVOLVING GOD IN EVERY PLAN OF YOUR LIFE.
There’re so many people fail in their lives coz they rely on their own strength. They only focusing their lives by their own mind, not God’s mind.
Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the LORD of hosts ~ Zachary 4 : 6
What does look good in man’s eyes, uncertainty looks good in God’s eyes.

Life is just like steering a ship in the ocean. Sometimes the ocean looks calm, and sometimes it’s waving. We don’t know when the storm will come. That’s why the sailor always has a compass (= to estimate the weather condition, either its windy or cloudy).

To we, as the Christ children, our compass to have a successful life is TO OBEY THE WORDS OF GOD AND LIVE IN IT.

PRAY : Dear Lord, be a compass through YOUR words to us. As we drives our lives by YOUR strength, and may it bless YOUR heart. Abide in us FATHER, so YOUR love endures forever.
