A week ago, this relative of mine called me on the phone, we talked for two straight hours, the only reason why we got off the phone because her legs got numb from sitting too long( she is an older person, and needs to know that Jesus took her place on the cross and soon) After we said goodbye to each other, I felt sadness, like depression came over me mixed with so many emotions that I did not want to entertain at all. I was alone, felt sooo sick and lost too, hard to describe, could not pray for a while, then I stared at the ceiling, looking up, opened my mouth slowly and started talking to my Heavenly father:" Thank You God for this couch I am sitting on and the bed I slept in last night, thank you God for this day, whether it rains outside or snows or if the sun shinning, thank you for my kids, my husband, my friends, the job you put me in right now, thank you God for Jesus, thank you for this relative of mine, thank you for opening her eyes to you soon, thank You God that You are not going to call my relative home before she gets saved, thank you God that you are not giving up on her and no devil in hell is going to keep her away from your truth, thank you God that No weapon that is formed against me will prosper and every tongue that rises against me in judgement, I shall condemn, because this is my heritage from you my God and my rightseouness is from you my God. Thank You God for all You did, You are doing and You will be doing, thank You God in Jesus name, thank You".
After I was done giving God thanks for even the little thing that seems like it is maybe not much to be thankful for, I got on my feet with sooo much energy, joy and love, was able to cook and had the best fellowship with my family.
I want to encourage anyone here that is going through depression or hard time, open your mouth and give God the thanks that He sooo deserves, for all that He gave you, no matter what it is, start with your salvation.
