“ Nothing to prove ” has correlation with the attitude of humility which should be owned by every Christian. Let us look at the life of Judas Iscariot, the last seconds before he kissed Jesus as a sign of arrests for Roman soldiers, Jesus Christ in his capacity as Lord could be "tempted" to prove who He really is. But Jesus did not do that. He was not trying to prove who He is, though He was under highest pressure, which He knew with certainty that the worst episode in His life he will soon pass.
When we were in a situation like Jesus had, where there is pressure at our work, ministry, family, relationships and whatever else, our human nature often tempted to say "you do not know who you dealing with."
When proving ourselves became an important thing for us, as well as the recognition, we are often became unconsciously made it as our priorities of lives. Does not require proof and confession is a dangerous gap?
Proving anything will only bring us back into the concept of our past lives, that we rely on ourselves and not rely on God. The question is how we can be survive when we walking with our own strength which is limited ? . We will trapped with argue, debate with peoples who has different opinion or different vision
Roman 12 verse 16
“Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty (snobbish, high-minded, exclusive), but readily adjust yourself to [people, things] and give yourselves to humble tasks. Never overestimate yourself or be wise in your own conceits.”
