The perfect Christian is not perfect because of what he/she does, but rather because he/she realized they were …
… guilty needing redeeming
… broken needing fixing
… lost needing guidance
… blind needing sight
… deaf needing hearing
… weak needing strength
… spiritually dead needing spiritual life
ALL THIS IS FOUND IN JESUS THE HOLY ONE WHO IS PERFECT, THE ONE WHO DIED AND ROSE FOR US THAT WE MAY BECOME PARTAKERS OF HIS ETERNAL LIFE AND BE CALLED CHILDREN OF GOD. OUR PERFECTION IS DEPENDENT ON JESUS AND HIS WORK IN US.
(Can you add to this list?)

Love this! Amen!
Sure, I can
That's pretty cool. Would you like to go to Facebook and add it the posting there as well?
Thanks,
LT
OK. Thanks. I was needing to know before I added to the list.
*darkness needing light
*orphans needing sonship
*sinners needing forgiveness
He made them perfect by changing:
*condemnation to grace
*living a life of feelings to a life of faith
*doubt to assurance
*old man to new creation
*the enemy of God to a child of God
*anxiety to trust
*worry to hope
*evil to holy
*fear to joy
*wicked to righteous
*hate to love
*dishonor to worship
*prison to praise
*pride to humility
*hell to heaven
He also blessed people that don't seem blessed for an outsider. He blessed the meek, the humble, the poor in spirit, those who mourn, merciful, pure in heart, persecuted for righteousness sake, the lowly, the children......
Tammy,
Was a typo. Should have been small case "h" meaning Christian.
When you say The perfect Christian is not perfect because of what He does, who is the 'He'? Is it the Christian or Christ?
