People are so eager for their Christmas present. Tearing the wrapping papers .Playing with the toys and other gifts, but how long does that entertainment last? Before they are out buying new gifts to get some other temporary thrill. But the sad thing about is, the end result of those purchases is about paying the debt to a credit card and lost of that short ecstatic emotion. But meanwhile there is a much better gift to give people. What kind of gift can bring healing to the broken hearted, seeing the dead raise to new life, cleanse the leper, give sight to the blind, to set free those who are oppress, bring healing to all kinds of diseases, bring freedom to the captives, and giving eternal life , and supply endless love etc. This is the best gift which is Jesus Christ. The fact that the King of kings, and Lord of lords came down in human form to dwelt among men. It is so humbling that he was born in a manger, so tender , so approachable. As the word of God Luke 2:7- And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn. I mean think about the wise men traded their gifts to get a real eternal gift . As the word of God says in Matthew 2:11- After coming into the house they saw the Child with Mary His mother; and they fell to the ground and worshiped Him. Then, opening their treasures, they presented to Him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.And exchange for gift that comes into their heart and dwells inside you. As the word of God says in Romans 10:10- for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. The gift was all part of God plan a long time ago when he decide to have us part of that plan. AS the word of God says in Ephesians 1:4-just as He chose us in Him beforethe foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love 5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, .Do you really think you have no present at all that cannot bring comfort to you when you are mourning. AS the word of God says in Matthew 5:4-“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Jesus is the one who comforts you, and if we didn't have the gift of salvation we all be walking around with sackcloth.Why be so sullen, like you are not love. You are love , you are love by Jesus and he is deeply in love with you.As the word of God says in Hosea 14:4- The Lord says,“I will bring my people back to me.
I will love them with all my heart;
no longer am I angry with them. This gift is the antidote for mankind.It is the gift that has appear to help mankind in ungodliness, worldly lusts etc. AS the word of God says in Titus 2:11- That is the way we should live, because God’s grace that can save everyone has come. 12 It teaches us not to live against God nor to do the evil things the world wants to do. Instead, that grace teaches us to live in the present age in a wise and right way and in a way that shows we serve God. We settle for these temporary gifts when you can have a rich fulfilling gift. AS the word of God says in Isaiah 55:2- Why spend your money on something that is not real food?
Why work for something that doesn’t really satisfy you?
Listen closely to me, and you will eat what is good;
your soul will enjoy the rich food that satisfies. I'm telling you will no longer need earthly investment to feel satisfied. You will drink from the cup of salvation like David.As the word of God says in Psalm 116:13- I will lift up the cup of salvation,
and I will pray to the Lord. This is the greatest gift ever to have and it never perishes. Enjoy Christ-mas with Jesus forever. May the Grace of God be with you all.
If you want the gift that really satisfy say this prayer: Lord Jesus I am a sinner, but you died so I could be justified, and receive the gift of righteous. I believe that my sins are no longer held against me anymore. I am your child and your beloved. Please send me your comforter. I am yours forever.
