Many, in these end days, are accusing the Christian community of hate for gay and lesbian couples. This idea is wrong, we do not hate but fear for their souls. Here is the question that many are asking;”Can a gay man, or lesbian woman, be a Christian?” The Bibles answer is no.


“And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.”


Abomination;

Extreme hatred; detestation.

The object of detestation, a common signification in scripture.

“The way of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord.”

Hence, defilement, pollution, in a physical sense, or evil doctrines and practices, which are moral defilement's, idols and idolatry, are called abominations.


“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.”

The sense here is that homosexuality is a defilement, pollution, in a physical sense, and a moral defilement in the eyes of God.

Many are taking the Bible apart, to justify their lust for the same sex, as was prevalent in Sodom and Gomorrah.


The congress of the United States is currently considering a law that would make it illegal for ministers of the Gospel to preach against same sex practices, which would include imprisonment for those that follow Gods own word.

Effeminacy

The softness, delicacy and weakness in men, which are characteristic of the female sex, but which in males are deemed a reproach; unmanly delicacy; womanish softness or weakness.

Voluptuousness; indulgence in unmanly pleasures; lasciviousness.


Unrighteousness shall not inherit the kingdom of God, this meaning that, all who co-mitt the acts of sin, no matter what the law of the land states, will be condemned to everlasting torment for their unbelief in Christ and Gods word. The misconception that many people make is that, even if the entire world legalized gay and lesbian marriages, and acts, that does not supersede the word of God. For we will not be judged by mans laws, but the law of the New Testament Covenant, that Jesus made with all mankind.


Many believe that Jesus never stated that these acts, were sin, nor an abomination in the New Testament, but they are wrong. Here is proof; “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

When Jesus stated that His words shall never pass away, does this mean that Gods commandments against the abomination of homosexuality will pass away?

By no means, God has stated that His word will be from everlasting to everlasting. With Christ announcement that He and The Father were one, signifies that all words spoken by one, are the words spoken by both. We cannot separate Jesus from the father or the Father from Christ.


“Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”


Jesus mentions that fornication is sin in Matthew 5:32,

Fornication; To commit lewdness, as an unmarried man or woman, or as a married man with an unmarried woman.

Licentiousness of opinion and practice; an unrestrained indulgence of lust; debauchery; The practice of unlawful sexual commerce; habitual or customary lewdness of males or females.


In the book of Revelations, as it is written, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers (Whoremaster; One who practices lewdness.),and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars,(These include those that have fought against the word of God concerning morality, in essence, calling God a liar.) shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

The book of Revelations is not the Revelation of John, but the Testimony of Christ, “The Revelation of Christ to John.”


The abominable, (Those which co-mitt abominations.)shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

You must ask yourself,”Did God change His word because He desired all men to be saved in Jesus Christ?: The answer is simple, no. Jesus came to offer salvation to all men that would believe on Him, for the Bible clearly states that, “Salvation is of the Jews.”


“one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Till all be fulfilled, is explaining that Gods word shall be in force, old testament abominations included, until the end of time. The path to salvation shall not pass away, but the method will be changed, no longer after the end of time shall men be allowed to co-mitt such things but all will live to be one hundred years old(This all according to the Bible, and at the end of these years all men shall be given a choice, to worship God or be cast into the lake of fire. (There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.)


“And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD.

And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.”

When you see the Holy city compassed by her enemies, when the people become as the days of noah, when you see the church falling away after false doctrine, when you see unrightiousness abound, you know the time is near, even at the door. Jesus told us of all the signs to look for, but not to fear, for these things must come to pass. this is the time we need to get closer to the Lord and work harder to draw the lost to repentance. Jesus tells us to keep an eye on Israel.

2Pe 3:2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
2Pe 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
2Pe 3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
The end of days is not a single event of prophecy but a combination of events.
The signs are here, many refuse to see.

are we in the end of days really? i first heard this end of days when i was a teenager, i am now 59, and i still hear the same refrain -end of days. my idea is wherever we are -start or end of days, we must do the right things, speak the truth and accept the consequences. felixpadua

The U.S.congress has a hate crimes bill before them that would jail ministers for expressing the Biblical view on homosexuality. We, my brother, are in the end of days. We must speak the truth and accept the consequences. In Christ. ars

The bible does not approve of sin any kind of sin, but if we go around and put people down because of sinning what good are we as christians? Yes we should preach the gospel to all let them know right from wrong, but do it in love, do it in a way that will win souls for Christ. Lets take me for example, I grew up as a Jehovah's Witness. When I was about 13yrs old I wanted to do the things of the world, Started drinking, smoking,clubing every thing that was wrong. From a saint to a sinner, I was a real rebel, started doing drugs, stealing, dealing. Had no purpose in life. About 10yrs later I pulled myself towards myself, looking for purpose in life, started going to church, lots of different churchers, but could not find God.Through all this people told me God loves me, he wanted to give me a new life, but because of my up bringing i just could not fathom it, but they continued to witness to me about Gods love for me. I was invited to attend a penticostal church At the age of 27, i thought what do i have to loose and went. When I walked into the place I thought where have these people brought me, this is a bunch of mad people. I stayed for the service, and strange enough I returned the next day. Do you want to know why? When I went the first night they did not judge me, I had long hair,four earrings two in each ear, a pack of smokes in my shirts pocket, but they did not judge me.

If I was judged I would'nt be saved today, lets proclaim Gods Word in love, let the world know that any form of sin is not right in Gods eyes, that He does'nt approve of it. I was bad, but because of Gods grace I;m happly married with two children, serving a loving God who loves us all.

All must concider these words, we do not judge but as Christ we speak the words that all men will be judged by.
Joh 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Joh 8:16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
Joh 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

i have to agree. you can tell the truth in love. you see this is why i believe this lifestyle has been accepted in some denominations. we must go by what the bible says. if the bible is your authority, then we must go by it. does that make me a hate monger. or homophobic, as people describe it. no. but the truth of the matter is it is what it is. its an abomination......its sinful. now are we going to remain silent out of fear that we will offend some. you see i rather offend some, then remain quiet and not warn man of his sinful state. iam still trying to figure out how are we judging them.......if we already know what scripture says concerning this lifestyle.......and yes i do have gay friends, they have come over for dinner.in case any one is wondering. let me reiterate we should preach the gospel with conviction, and talk to people whether their straight or gay. its more than a lifestyle that were talking about in the end. with out christ they will perish into eternity without the savior

Matthew chapter7 : 1-2 Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged. Matthew chapter 9: 9-13 As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at his tax collecter's booth. " Follow me and be my disciple." Jesus said to him. So Matthew got up and followed him. Later Matthew invited Jesus and his disciples to his home as dinner guest, along with many tax collecters and other disreputable sinners. But when the Pharisees saw this, they asked his disciples, :why does your teacher eat with such scum?" Whe Jesus heard this he said "Healty people do not need a doctor, sick people do". Then he added, now go and learn the meaning of this scripture: " I want you to show mercy, not offer sacrifices" For I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners."

" For the grace of God has been revealed, brining salvation to all people. And we are instructed to turn from godless living and sinful pleasures. We should live in this evil world with wisdom, righteousness, and devotion to God , while we look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed. He gave his life to free us from every kind of sin, to cleanse us, to make us his very own people, totally committedto doing good deeds" (Titus 2: 11 - 14 )

God has promised us a wonderful future! In the present, he can keep us from constantly falling into sin if we call on him. All we have to do is plant the seed in their hearts, give them the gospel of hope and let God do the rest.
