Thankfulness

I'm so thankful to all who prayed for Chris and passed it on. We had a great day. Now, We don't stop being thankful cause all the left overs are gone and our favorite football team won. We have to walk in a spirit of thankfulness everyday of our lifes.Thanking God daily for the small things and of course the big things and thanking him for the trails we are going through. We need to desire a thankful heart everyday cause I don't know about anyone else but to steal our joy and thankfulness is one of the Devils many things he trys to do and if we focus on the slites and what might be considered unfairness in our lifes we start to loose that thankful heart. So (and I'm preaching to the choir here) instead of getting discouraged and down thank Him for that person or situation that would try to steal your joy. Be of good cheer, turn eveything over to God and thank him. Thank Him for his Son who died for us, thank Him for his Spirit that leads and guides us. Pray and forgive and keep your eyes on Jesus. I know at work when I've let the Devil eat my lunch and get so down because of this and that when I have praised him and gone before him with a thank-ful heart He lifts my spirit.
