Stugggling With Sin

In the book of Proverbs the Lord speaks many times of Knowledge, Wisdom and Understanding of the scriptures. The reason for this is the "WORD" (Jesus) was given (by the Father) "all" power and authority in heaven, on earth and under earth. Now we know that the entire Bible has this power and authority of Christ, (the WORD).

Sin....James 1: 13 When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

Now that we have knowledge and wisdom of sin and where it comes from. We can pray for God's desires in us instead of our own. And with much prayer and training in His Word and actions (standing firm in His truth) we will reap a harvest of His righteousness. And if you notice there is no word "I" because I am only alive in Christ. Without Him in every aspect, love, mercy, grace, power, authority etc. I am nothing.

Also Jesus came to destroy the devils work and He did by His resurrection. And if we truly believe (trust) in His resurrection then we know the devil has no power over "us". Who Has all power? JESUS!

Hope this helps anyone who struggles because we have a Mighty Deliverer and One who was tempted for forty days and more and understands our weakness and is always near to help us in our time of need and anytime there is an atmosphere of praise to God the devil has to flee.
