Still struggling with sin? welcome to the club! Of the war of the flesh and the spirit. As the word of God says in Galatians 5:17-Our ·sinful self [sinful nature;T flesh] ·wants [desires] what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit ·wants [desires] what is against our ·sinful self [sinful nature; T flesh]. [L For] The two are ·against [opposed to; or hostile toward] each other, so you cannot do just what you ·please [want]. I struggle with this all time. You know sometimes I feel like Im on high mountain top when I walking in God's Spirit.But then I notice that I struggling with that sin that still remains in me that makes me want to do what I want.As the word of God says in Romans 7:8-And sin ·found a way [seized the occasion/opportunity] to use that command and ·cause me to want all kinds of things I should not want [L produce in me all kinds of desires/coveting]. Its mean that I keep following what I want but I rebel against what God wants me to do. As the word of God says in Romans 8:7-When people’s ·thinking is controlled by [or outlook/mind is set on] the ·sinful self [sinful nature; T flesh], they are ·against [hostile to] God, because they refuse to ·obey [submit to] God’s law and really are not even able to ·obey [submit to] God’s law.You know its like a storm that warring in our soul that wants to take control . As the word of God says in 1 Peter 2:11- Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. But here's that part that helps us overcome our fleshly desires.It is denying our self and dying daily. AS the word of God says in Luke 9:23-And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. and 1 Corinthians 15:31-I protest, brothers, by my pride in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day!
That is not easy, and certainly can very opposing to human nature. I mean think about it we want to do right but evil is always present.As the word of God says in Romans 7:21- I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. But thank you that Jesus always brings a cure for our struggle. As the word of God says in Romans 7:25-
I thank God for saving me [L Thanks be to God!] through Jesus Christ our Lord! We have to live in the Holy Spirit so we won't fulfill are carnal pleasure that only bring death for us. AS the word Of God says in Galatians 5:16-This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. And as the word of God says in Galatians 6:8- For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. It's time for us to walk like Jesus and stay yoke to him. AS the word of God says in 1 John 2:6- He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. And as the word of God says in Matthew 11:29-·Accept my teachings [L Take my yoke upon you] and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in ·spirit [heart], and you will find rest for your ·lives [souls; Jer. 6:16].Yeah I know it's going to be hard because I'm still going through it myself but you have to declare as it says in the word of God says in Galations 2:20-I ·was put to death on the cross [L have been crucified] with Christ, and I do not live anymore—it is Christ who lives in me. I still live in my ·body [flesh], but I live ·by faith in [or because of the faithfulness of] the Son of God who loved me and gave himself ·to save me [L for me; on my behalf] and say also 1 John 4:4-Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.And when that old man tries to come back Jesus will give you the grace to resist it. As the word of God says in Romans 5:20-Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:.Don't worry saints God will do the changing you just open yourself to him to do. As the word of God says 2 Corinthians 3:18-But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. When those thoughts come back and try to rule you to your pleasures. You remember what Galatians 5 :1-Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Refuse to believe that sin still rules you. Because his purchase your freedom. You belong to Jesus and you were brought with a price. As the word of God says in 1 Corinthians 6:20-For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.God bless you on your journey in Jesus Name.Amen .And remember we still deal with sin but it does not have to be our master anymore. :)
If you want a relationship with Jesus say this prayer : Lord Jesus I am sinner and need of your saving grace. You died for me so I can live for you and that I can be with you forever. I put my trust in you to help me live in the spirit. And to continually crucified my old nature. That I may walk in the new man.And that you will flow your resurrection life through me. IN Jesus Name.Amen
Praise God you are a new creation in Christ Jesus. Go to a God fearing church.Read your bible daily,pray daily, Get a New King James Version bible. and have fellowship with the body of Christ.God bless you on your journey.
