A soul, trapped for now in a decaying skin,
embodied amidst a sphere of sin.
A desirous place inside awaits for just one attainment,
the soul desperately fights against containment.
Oh flesh... when will you let go,
that I may see whom I love so.
Your will to live is in my way,
I beg you listen to what I say.
Your search for what I want is all in vain,
and what's endured is just insane.
Surrender now that you may die,
so I may see The Father's eye.
By: Preston Pittman "Soul's Cry"
I love you.
"O God, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs and is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is." Psalm 63:1
The Word of God and the Holy presence of God's spirit are only the believer's solace in this evil world. There is no peace for anyone else!
Our spirit, which will never stop existing is searching to be loved, and there is only one true source - He whom "is" love - God.
For the believer, until we get to see Our God, there is The Holy Spirit and God's Word for now, and to our soul, it's as a nest is to the birds. The more we read about the love of God, the closer... the more aware we become of His loving presence. Our spirit is one with it's creator and more at rest in the present while waiting to ascend. Amen?
I love you.
