...something to offer each other.

We all have something to offer each other. Yes, we can all pray for each other, and have kind words but, there is more. We each have a view of God, an aspect of Him others need to know. When the Body is as One, the world has a greater understanding of God. To be able to share God w/ others is good. When we show each other in the Body, the aspect of Jesus that we each possess, is step one. Step two is, accept one another, and hold on to each other. All the different aspects of God recognize, and bind themselves to every one. And in doing so form the Body. True Love for one another is, one of those binding agents.

Age does not determine how much we understand God. Maturity in Christ comes from what degree we yield to the Spirit. The more we are able to get past who we are, or think we are then, the closer we do become more Christ like. As we get beyond pride, and realize what we have, has been given to us from God. And what we have is, for others and not ourselves. And in turn they have what we need. It is in humility, that we grow and become who we are for God. Godly Wisdom, compassion a genuine concern for others, anonymous act of Love, these carry w/ them a Power. A Power we will not fully know until, all has been judged and passed through the fire.

This is so true , everything we will ever do for God must come from a completely yielded vessel. Otherwise we will ( as you have stated ) start thinking too much of ourselves and get in the way of what God is trying to accomplish through us.

We will never reach our true potential for God until we totally submit to His leading. I read a book a long time ago intitled " I love the word ' impossible'". In the book the woman explains that sometimes God allows us to 'come to our own conclusion that something is impossible in order for us to finally get out of His way.

I must always ask God to 'keep me out of the way ' so He can work out things for the best.
