8 And the word of the LORD came again to Zechariah: 9 “This is what the LORD Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. 10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.
Every day God wakes us up and sets us out on a mission. Reflect on true justice. How will mercy play into our lives? Will we need to be compassionate today? If so will we reflect Jesus in that compassion. Will we look upon someone "differently" because they are from a country not our own? Will we remember that we are "all" aliens here. Will we walk past the homeless beggar and see him with cold hearts?
Each day we are given a choice regardless of our circumstances.
Who will we be?
How will we share the love of Jesus with others?
What will our hands do to show others the love of Jesus?
When will it be the "right" time for you and I to step out and take a chance and make a stance?

Hi JM,
I really appreciate the thoughts that this post is sowing - it has helped me to think not so much about self but much more about selflessness and how to administer to the needs of others. Galatians 6:9-10 sprung up in my mind after reading your post.
Really thankful for your sharing,
In the Lord,
Desmond
