So Long World...

I'm going to make this perfectly clear and be bold: I do not believe in 'once saved, always saved'. I believe that we, as humans, must strive to be perfect for God to make it to heaven. Anyways, I'm going to talk about 'So Long World..."

The Word tells us "Be not conformed of this world..." That is a commandment, not a suggestion. My family, right now, is in the living room enjoying a movie. I believe in not watching television, that is my personal conviction. The Word also talks about our conscience; do not do something that harms our conscience. Now, I'm not saying that watching TV will cause you to go to Hell. I just believe in seeking God at all times, and if watching TV takes your mind off the Lord, then I shouldn't watch it.

We are children of God. We are different. For example:

I was at school and there were a lot of teens listening to rap. The teacher was allowing it and I refused to listen to it. Why? Because I don't want to hear someone sing about sex, drugs and cursing. So I went to the back of the room and laid my head down and talked to God. No one spoke to me. I sat outside of the crowd because I didn't want that to come between my relationship with God.

We are different, strange, odd. We love God, and He loves us. We are to be like Him and the world is not like Him. We must strive to be like Him, to follow Him, and to listen to His voice at all times.

If giving up TV is what I need to do(although, I fancy television, so it's  sacrifice)then I will do it. Same goes with the internet, I must take my eyes off the screen if it takes from my relationship with God.

So, let's confirm it to the world: We're different. Satan cannot entice us and win the battle. We are children of God.
