shake the devil off!

You have to shake the devil off of you. You cannot afford to let him poison you with his lies. You cannot afford to allow him to influence you with his persuasions.Like he did Eve in the garden. AS the word of God says in Genesis 3:1-4-Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. ⁵ “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Listening to his lies will pollute your mind, cause you to stay in error.We have to discern the spirits that we heed if they come from God or coming from another source. As the word of God tells us in 1 John 4:1-My dear friends, many false prophets have gone out into the world. So do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from God.See he desires to manipulate you. But like what apostle Paul did was he simply shook him off. And says no Devil you cannot control me. As the word of God shows in Acts 28:3-5 - Paul gathered a pile of sticks and was putting them on the fire when a poisonous snake came out because of the heat and bit him on the hand.The people living on the island saw the snake hanging from Paul’s hand and said to each other, “This man must be a murderer! He did not die in the sea, but Justice^[a] does not want him to live.” But Paul shook the snake off into the fire and was not hurt.That's the power that lives in us. The devil's venom cannot hurt us. Remember the Lord said that we can tread upon the demonic powers and if  we do get a little sting. It cannot hurt us. AS the word of God says in Luke 10:19-Listen, I have given you power to walk on snakes and scorpions, power that is greater than the enemy has. So nothing will hurt you.  Sure he might put something on you, but you know what God said that it will not prevail. As the word of God says in Isaiah 54:17-So no weapon that is used against you will defeat you. You will show that those who speak against you are wrong. These are the good things my servants receive. Their victory comes from me,” says the Lord

Sure he might convince you  that all hope is lost. But no its not because you have the Love of the Holy Spirit in your heart and that never disappoints. As the word of God says in Romans 5:5-And this hope will never disappoint us, because God has poured out his love to fill our hearts. He gave us his love through the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to us.Sure he might tell you do you really think God will meet your need? Those are just lies that keep you in that little spider web his weaving up. As the word of God says in Isaiah  59:5-They hatch evil like eggs from poisonous snakes. If you eat one of those eggs, you will die, and if you break one open, a poisonous snake comes out. People tell lies as they would spin a spider’s web. Do you see how deadly it is to eat those lies the devil is feeding you. You end up living the life of death and curses instead of life and blessing. As the word of God says in Deuteronomy 30:19- I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live; The enemy knows that if you know the truth, he won't be able to manipulate you anymore. He knows that the plan is not working. So he attempt to come up with another diversion. To see if you know the truth. Just like he did our Savior in Matthew 4:1-10. Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. ² And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry. ³ Now when the tempter came to Him, he said, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

⁴ But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’”^[a]

⁵ Then the devil took Him up into the holy city, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, ⁶ and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down. For it is written:

⁷ Jesus said to him, “It is written again, ‘You shall not tempt the Lord your God.’”^[c]

⁸ Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. ⁹ And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.”

¹⁰ Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you,^[d] Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” He knows the more truth you have the more his arrows of deception cannot work. Because you are constantly apply the helmet of salvation on your head, and your girding yourself with the belt of truth.Just to name a few of our armor. That's why my friends its important that you feed your soul with the word of God. It is the bread of heaven that has come to give life to the world. As the word of God says in  John 6:33- For the bread of God is He who comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.” The more you get rid of his lies , the more life can flow through your mind. And effect the way you live and others. As the word of God says in Romans 8:6-For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. So if you are suffering from the stings of the devil. Remember who defeated him. Remember who has the power to set you free from those stings. As the word of God says in 1 Corinthians 15:54-56-So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”^[g]

⁵⁶ The sting of death is sin, and the strength of sin is the law. ⁵⁷ But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. I hope this encourages you. Hold on my friend the battle is already won.  And  says this psalm  out loud or to yourself Psalm 107:1-2 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. ² Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy. So rejoice in the Lord, Celebrate.
