Life can offer and bring so many things our way that will try to cripple our spiritual lives. In the midst of the debilitating situations, how often do we just want to give up, and say, "God I've been weakened from all these oppositions. My heart is crying out to You because I need You to rescue me from all my adversities, I feel defeated, and my hope is shattered.
Exodus 6:6 (NIV) 6 "Therefore, say to the Israelites: 'I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment". Reading scripture as such, how often do we think that, "it is okay that it is stated in the Bible, but my situations are different than the Hebrews, that was their problem". How many times have we tried to convince ourselves that our problems are more difficult than all others, and we retreat within ourselves instead of reaching out to God. Is it because we don't believe what He is saying? Afterall, we do believe in Him, and realize that He is floating around somewhere out there. How often can we try and convince ourselves that maybe He is favouring others over us, or maybe our situations have little meaning to Him, or where is He when we need Him the most? For some reason we start to believe we are the only ones that have these big problems, and we revisit Pity City in trying to find a reason to say, "YES LORD", but we cannot get beyond asking the question, WHY ME LORD?
Just like the Hebrews our problems can get worse, but at the same time God already has a plan in place to lead us out of our bondage through His unequaled power. I believe that God loves to activate His undefineable power to see us become victorious over our problems, and regardless of how our faith is at times, He will take control to see us through whether we are focused on the issue or Him. In these situations we have the opportunity to strengthen our faith, and know God is true to His Word.
The Hebrew's problems grew worse, but God fulfilled His promises to the highest degree that only He could do. God led the Hebrews out of Egypt, and as a result He rescued them out of slavery, resulting in them making Him their God. What a powerful God, and He accepted them as His children. In their new found freedom from slavery, they became a testimony to us how deliverance is equated to that of salvation for all of us.
God promises us that if we cling to our faith, even in the difficult times, He will bless us through supernatural breakthroughs, and supernatural deliverance away from our adversities.
God's message to us is that He is going to free us from our bondages, from the burden of discouragement, from every addiction, and bad habit that hinders our relationship with Him.
You don’t have to live in bondage, any longer. God promises us He will rescue us in our times of struggles. He wants to set us free from every controlling bondage so we can live a life of victory. It doesn't matter what’s going on in our lives, or even how somebody is treating us, God has a plan to free us from everything that's restraining us from moving forward in Him.
As He is reaching down to you, are you reaching up to take His hand? It is totally our responsibility to receive what He is offering us. All you have to say is Yes Father, walk with me and guide me like only you can. It takes humbleness to admit we need His help, but it only takes a little pride to separate us from His Will for us. Are you ready to accept His love, and freedom that He has for you? If so, He is waiting to RESCURE YOU OUT OF BONDAGE!!!
