REPENTANCE, SEPARATING THE PRECIOUS FROM THE VILE

I've said for a long time now, repentance must come before revival. Modern church is all about men, the self appointed "go between" God and man. My Bible says my Jesus is the Head of His Church.
Church is not something we attend on Sunday (which in and of itself is an abomination to God and contrary to His Commandment that begins with "Remember"), but a life we live together, moment by moment, being anxious for nothing. It seeks His kingdom and HIs Righteousness. It knows that apart from Him we can do nothing, but in Christ Jesus we can do all things, including dying to self and this stench of a world we live in, in all its deceptions and cunning lies.
In Christ we can become a model of obedience living a holy life as a peculiar people. In Christ we can be salt and light. My God is calling for a Church without spot or wrinkle, totally consumed and immersed into His life, what He wants, when He wants it.
My God is alive and lives in my heart because I have been crucified with Christ by faith, buried in baptism with Him so that from immersion in water I arise into the newness of life and share in His resurrection, no longer I who lives, but Christ living in me. (Gal 2:20) I am filled to overflowing with His Holy Ghost, all things are possible.
You can have your church, your programs, your institutes, non-profit corporations, status, position, title and fame. I choose to pursue my God. God and God alone sits on the throne of my life. He created me for fellowship with Him and to give Him pleasure. That is what I live for.
Oh God help me to keep that corrupt sin nature crucified and buried, and my life in You abounding, grace unto grace, ever testifying to the life changing POWER that comes from the Cross of Calvary (1 Cor 1:18). I am justified in God's court by my faith in the Holy One who shed His blood for me. I show my love for Him by keeping His Commandments, and He loves me and manifests Himself to me. (John 14:21) Oh Halleluia!!!
I am not self confident, for self has died. I am God confident. He said He is the author and the finisher of my faith. What He has started in me, He has promised to finish in me. Let Him do what He will with me, for I am totally His, to do with as He chooses. Though He slay me, yet will I praise Him. I said though He SLAY me, yet will I praise Him. He is not the reason I live. He is Who lives in me. I don't share my life with Him, He is the I life live. He has nothing but love and good for me. Why? It's His nature, alleluia.

Long ago I was in a home meeting, and just as I was leaving, the lady of the house told me to go home and read Jer. 15:19-21. May I share that with you?

19Therefore thus saith the LORD, If thou return, then will I bring thee again, and thou shalt stand before me: and if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: let them return unto thee; but return not thou unto them.

20And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brasen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

21And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the terrible.

I'm ashamed to confess to you that it has taken me 15 years to receive His promises. Why? Because I could not and would not separate "the precious from the vile". Only the cross can do that.
The Cross is not a place for wounding, although it does wound. It's a place of death. In our case it is a place where we must die so that He can live. No death, no life, beloved. It's that simple. Vile has to be crucified before we get the precious. Oh thank You Lord.

I took the step of faith. I cast aside anything and everything that was of this world and not of God. No exceptions, no excuses. If it was between my soul and my Savior, it went. Then on my knees I asked Him for the ability and the will to do His good pleasure, and keep my flesh, my sin nature, my fallen man crucified with Christ and in the grave.

Now, I have peace with God. There is no more war because one side lost, my flesh, and it was put to death. No more war. Glory to God, I said NO MORE WAR!!!! I've been set free by the Lamb that was slain for me. Blessed be His Holy Name.

In my Bible the Book of Revelation of Jesus Christ shows me the Lamb of God is still before the Throne of God. The shed blood of His perfect sacrifice for me is ever there to testify "paid in full". PAID IN FULL!! And the Father says "come". Oh what a blessed Holy Word. It is my Word of Faith, come. COME!!! Come and live with me forever and ever!!!!

What are you trading for eternal life? What is keeping you from eternal life? Is it worth it? I didn't think so. Why not just give it up, right now, right where you are. GIVE IT UP!!!! Repent, turn from the lust and love of the fallen man, and run to life abundant, absolute LIFE! Can you see Him? He's waiting, just the other side of the Cross.
