Have you ever noticed how someone’s behavior might change in a matter of seconds? Have you ever asked yourself why?
Let me start by telling you this important fact; it is not in seconds that a person changes moods. It might seem like it, but it’s not.
Every person is different; I’m talking about different attitudes, characters, emotions, feelings, believes, motives, etc. It’s very difficult to judge a person, much less try to analyze his/her behavior.
Here are some other reasons why a person might have problems with their behavior: their surroundings, people they deal with, family issues, work related problems, past mistakes, childhood memories, financial difficulties… You get my point?
It’s been a couple of years since people began approaching me for help; even though I don’t have a psychology degree, I have been able to help them, by listening, understanding, being compassionate, sympathetic, and providing them with a piece of advice. Sometimes that’s all it takes, and sometimes they need professional guidance.
Here’s my advice as always: go back to the top of this page and read it again. The next time you see someone’s behavior change; don’t be quick to judge, instead remind yourself of how different we all are, and the reasons why… and, act accordingly.
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man's anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires.
