PSALM 98 DEVOTIONAL-NEW SONG

When I think of what God has done for me in my life, which is most of the time, I feel much fullness, bursting with joy and love for Him that I can never quite find the right words to say. There are no words to express it in its fullness and nothing I can do that can ever fully demonstrate. My frame is only little but the love and joy our Lord fills me with makes me feel that I should be living in a “spandex” body in xxxxxlarge!! He saved us from death and gave us life, renewing us day by day and refilling us with the love that this world took away. When I think of where I was and where He has brought me, how many times He has carried me, given me His strength to carry on through so many trials and hurts, it brings tears to my eyes as it is doing right now at this very moment. This devotional may seem “mushy” to some but it is the way God made me. The way He made me that went into hiding when this world did battle for my soul and hardened my heart. God has won this soul, I am HIS, but then He knew that all along!! Now my prayer is, like so many who are in love as I am in love with Jesus, is for even just one life, one lost soul to find the love that we have all found in Him. Something this wonderful should be shared and there is nothing more wonderful than our Almighty God. There is nothing so wonderful as this new song!!


Psalm 98(KJV)

1O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.
2The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.
3He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
5Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
6With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.
7Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
8Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
9Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity
