PSALM 120 DEVOTIONAL-PEACE BE WITH US

Today’s devotional is for the most part a request for prayer from a Christian brother in Pakistan. It came at the time I was about to write this devotional.

Dear Heavenly Father, Your Name is Holy and we rejoice in praise and worship of You and You alone. You have commanded that we put no other Gods before You and we humbly approach You this day and ask that you comfort, protect and provide for all who serve You in every nation where persecution and war against us is present. We know that many are suffering in this world at the hands of the enemy who spreads his deceitful ways and holds so many in darkness and bondage. Help Your servants in times of danger that they face in spreading the peace, joy and the light of knowing that YOU are God. Keep them safe in order to do Your will, in Jesus most precious Name,AMEN!!! YOUR WILL BE DONE!!

Please pray for the families of Rashid and Sajid Emmanuel of Pakistan who were shot and killed for Jesus Name sake. Pray for persecution of the servants of the Lord everywhere who are facing this violence. Please do not turn a blind eye for one day persecution of God's children will spread to even our own nations. God richly bless you all this day and always

1In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me.
2Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.
3What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?
4Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper.
5Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar!
6My soul hath long dwelt with him that hateth peace.
7I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war
